1. Agreement to Terms
By inviting the RoleGate Discord bot to your Discord server or accessing our website (rolegate-web.vercel.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not invite or use RoleGate.
2. Description of Service
RoleGate provides Discord server monetization automation, enabling server owners to sell paid roles to community members using Helio Pay and MoonPay Commerce. RoleGate acts solely as a non-custodial software layer that automates Discord role assignments upon verified payments.
3. Platform Fees & Payouts
RoleGate does not hold user funds. Payments are split on-chain via smart contracts (95% to the server creator's designated Solana wallet, and a 5% platform service fee to RoleGate). Server owners are solely responsible for providing a valid, secure Solana wallet address and declaring all applicable taxes in their respective jurisdictions.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use RoleGate for any unlawful activities, including but not limited to:
- Selling access to prohibited, illegal, or malicious content.
- Violating Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
- Fraudulent chargebacks, money laundering, or deceptive marketing practices.
- Attempting to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the bot's infrastructure.
5. Subscriptions & Refunds
Subscription pricing, benefits, and refund policies are established independently by each Discord server owner. Because transactions are processed on-chain or directly through payment gateways, RoleGate cannot issue direct refunds. Subscribers seeking refunds must contact the specific server owner.
6. Limitation of Liability
RoleGate is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for server misconfigurations (such as incorrect role hierarchy permissions), Discord API outages, blockchain network congestion, or third-party payment gateway downtime.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of RoleGate after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
